Data protection provisions
NM-Stahlgeräte GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We design our data processing systems with the aim of collecting, processing and using only as much personal data as is necessary to enable the rational and economically efficient use of our products and services.
Hereinafter you will find the information of when data are stored and how they are used when you use our internet offer. We have taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure compliance with the relevant provisions for data protection. Among others, our offers are subject to the stipulations of the Data Protection Acts, RStV (Interstate Broadcasting Treaty) and TMG (German Telemedia Act).
Storage of data upon access to our site
In connection with your access to our servers, data for safeguard purposes are stored that may possibly permit identification (e.g. IP address, date, time and viewed pages). These data will not be used in a personalized form. For evaluation and continuous improvement of the quality of our internet services as well as for comfortable use of our website, we carry out statistical analyses of the visits to our pages. This process also partly makes use of number graphics installed in the pages of our offer. The data obtained are, however, strictly anonymized and do not give any indication of the personal identity of the users. The legal basis of the data processing is art. 6, para. 1 lit. f of DSGVO. Our justified interest is a consequence of the afore-mentioned purposes of data collection.
Use without disclosure of identity
Principally, our online offer can be used without disclosure of your identity. If you wish to participate in one of our personalized services you will be asked separately about the data that are needed for the handling of those services. It is your free decision whether you use those services and enter the corresponding data.
Transfer of personal data to third parties
In principle, we do not share personal data with third parties. In particular, there will be no transfer of personal data to third parties for the purpose of advertising. However, should you make use of the personalized services offered by us, capturing and passing on personalized data to third parties may become necessary for the purpose of handling and carrying out that specific service. These data are, however, only stored and revealed to the extent required for order processing. When completing the relevant form, a declaration of explicit consent is required to prove the customer’s agreement. Any third party obtaining your personal data in the context of data processing will be bound by the legal stipulations underlying the handling of personal data as well. Insofar as we are obliged to do so by law or a court order, we shall forward your data to the bodies entitled to handle such information.
User profiles
In no case will your data be used to generate user profiles of whatever kind.
Use of cookies
Some websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer or contain viruses. Cookies are intended to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files, which are placed on your computer and stored by your browser.
Most of the cookies used by us are so-called “session cookies”. They are deleted automatically at the end of each session. Other cookies remain on your computer until they are deleted by you. These cookies enable us to recognize your computer on a future visit.
You can configure your browser in such a way that you are informed about the placement of cookies so that you can allow cookies on a case-by-case basis only, generally reject them or activate automatic deletion upon closing the browser. Please note that the deactivation of cookies may restrict functionality of this website.
Cookies which are required for handling electronic communication processes or for providing certain features requested by you (e.g. shopping cart function) will be stored following art. 6, para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website owner has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically sound and optimized supply of his services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing the user‘s surfing behaviour) are stored, these will be dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.
SSL/TLS encryption
For safety reasons in general and for the safety of transfer of confidential contents such as orders or enquiries sent to us as the operators of this site, we use SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize that you have an encrypted connection by the change in the address line of the browser from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.
Once SSL/TLS encryption has been activated, data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Contact form
If you use the contact form to send us an enquiry, the details from the enquiry form including the contact info entered by you will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for any follow-up questions that may arise. These details will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.
That means, processing of the information entered into the contact form will be carried out solely on the basis of your consent (art. 6, para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You have the right to revoke your consent at any time. You can do so by writing an informal e-mail to us. Legality of the data processing operations carried out before revocation will remain untouched from the revocation.
The data entered into the contact form by you will remain with us until you ask us to delete them or revoke your consent to the storage or until the purpose of the data storage has ceased to exist (e.g. after processing your enquiry has been finished). Any mandatory legal provisions – above all safekeeping periods – will remain untouched.
Google Web Fonts
In order to be able to display uniform fonts, this site uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google. When opening a site your browser loads the required Web Fonts into your browser cache in order to properly display texts and fonts.
For this purpose, the browser used by you has to set up connection to Google’s servers. By doing so, Google is informed that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used for reasons of a uniform and attractive display of our online services, which represents a legitimate interest according to art. 6, para.1 lit. f DSGVO.
If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
For additional information on Google Web Fonts please see https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and to Google‘s Privacy Policy on: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Google Maps
This site uses the map service of Google Maps through an API, the provider being Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. As a rule, this information is transferred to one of Google‘s servers in the US and stored there. The owner of this site has no influence on this data transfer.
Google Maps is used to ensure an appealing presentation of our online offer and easy findability of the places mentioned on the website. As such, this represents a legitimate interest according to art. 6, para.1 lit. f DSGVO.
For more information of how Google deals with user data, please refer to their privacy policies: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Right of revocation
In cases where personal data are collected and processed, this shall occur with your consent only. Your explicit consent is a prerequisite for participating in the relevant services. You are allowed to revoke your consent at any time.
Information, modification and deletion of your data
According to existing law, you can ask at any time in writing whether and what personal data from you are being stored by us. You will be given the corresponding information without delay.
In addition, you have the right to appeal to the supervisory authority, i.e.
